TUI drops Hapag-Lloyd integration plans on shareholder opposition

Tui is definitely under pressure to keep Hapag Lloyd as separate as possible, to enable a possible spinoff to Temaseks NOL possible. Tui management is opposed strongly to this possibility, but key shareholders are well aware that Hapag-Lloyd may not be able to continue operations with its current size.
