Muslims caught red-handed destroying Temple Mount artifacts: is Jerusalem set to explode?

advertisement

Can anyone say Apocalypse? If there is deliberate destruction of artifacts, it may well provoke corrective measures, which may trigger an escalation that could set the entire region ablaze. The rebuilding of the Temple may be nearer than anyone expects...at a price no one wishes to contemplate.

This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Apparently Olmert is willing to go along with the possible destruction of artifacts. I don't understand it, but maybe it's necessary to avoid conflict escalation. Without access archeologists are unable to definitively state whether or not the artificacts even exist, and it doesn't look like they are going to be granted access.

I really don't understand why the Israeli gov't is actively blocking archaeologists from the site, knowing that they may be abetting the destruction of one of the greatest finds ever in Temple Mound archaeology.

Such history should never be destroyed for the sake of appeasing politics.

I agree. It's strange that there hasn't been any kind of time out, especially considering (if I remember correctly) the whole area is something like "archeology central".

The Israeli government is very moderate and will go to amazing lengths to avoid trouble, at the expense of Jewish history.

Brenda Mayer:

I saw Bozzor;s earlier inflamatory article. Threatening the Golden Dome to ressurect a Jewish Temple, that could be reconstructed elsewhere, instead of confronting old patriarchial class prejudices that have carried on into the class nationalism today. Patriarchy was the first class system to destroy the equality between the matrilinear and fratriarchical lines of social clans. Primitive communism, was based on social equality between the genders, and this attempt to bring back old divisions, conflated with class divisions and class national lines is dangerous. We need an agreement between both cultures, unlike the present set up to turn Palestinainas into Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto, to allow both the archealogical finds, while at the same time finding another place to reproduce this history. It is better than a Holocaust, or "Apocalypse" that Bozzo and you make no attempt to find a more reasonable solution.

Eric, ignoring the (unrelated) 'class' nonsense:

"(the) Jewish Temple, that could be reconstructed elsewhere"
where?

the Golden Dome is built on the ruins of the Jewish Temple- I'm not a religious man, but even i understand that this is not a simple matter of urban planning... it's all about symbolism.

Here is a reasonable solution: have Muslims stop destroying priceless historic evidence of the Jewish Temple and stop proclaiming the strangely perverse yet funny notion that Jews have no historic link with Jerusalem.

The Muslims claims that the Temple never existed on the site: if that is correct, then the Temple should be rebuilt elsewhere. If it can be shown that the Temple was on that site, then the Muslims should bite their tongues and start getting their wheelbarrows ready...

Evacuate all the residents, nuke the whole area down to glass, and then let people of all religions come show their devotion bearing Windex and paper towels.

Problem solved.

Response: The most pernicious failure of the deformed middle classes in Western Society, particularly here in the U.S., and you see it here in these comments, is the complete disconnect and rejection or fear to make simple connections, or relationships. Instead, the deformed middle class, with their deformed ideologies, distorted ideological histories, prefer two kinds of failures. The would rathert re-examine every singular issue as if it came up for the first time. This has the usefulness of appealing to all kinds of special groups on singular issues to burn themsevles out this campaign or that campaign, instead of finding a common problem between all of them. The second ideological failure is, when confronted with reasonable explanations, and common links, relationships, and a theoretical propositions, as I have made in all my articles, for these class ideologies, apologists, to ignore concepts, terminology, and ideological distortion, the hallmarks of middle class political failure.

There is and has been a long ideological history by the class elites, corrupted middle layers, linked to the oligarchy of class rule, to both at once, deny and distort historical progress in ideas. The social liberals of the Enlightenment were converted into the class Liberals of Capitalism, both liberal and conservative view, the originial socialists, Marxist party under the second interantional, the working class party in Germany that was not supposed to vote for class national wars for the Kaiser, were converted into evolutionary socialists, i.e. appeasing class liberals, the social democrats, and then the third international which was an attempt to reclaim both the Enlightenement, the social liberals and Marxist working party, collapsed into the Stalinist party, converted from Marxism into bureaucratic, deformed middle class layers, this time corrupted, not from within, by class forces, but externally by global class forces, and the enabler of Stalin's "socialism in one country"

What do all these perversions in revolutionary ideology, democratic movements have in common? It was the very same deformed middle layers, that became part of the link to new oligarchies, as the class mechanism, that distorted ideology, through class ideology. In Amerika it has regressed further by sheer acceptance of this class rot, and therefore the need to be anyalytical and historical is outright rejected as you see here by Space Guy, which by the way, his moniker fits him nicely. You don't need to be disciplined, you just need to be lazy in thinking or Mr. Space Guy.

The problem is Eric, only those that are academic understand your intelectual words, something shorter, easier for the less educated but inteligent people would be a better approach to explain your argument.

Its simply a fact that the simple approach is always a better way to educate the masses, you should gear your argument to those that are not gods of the academic world.

That's a load o hooey. I put my educational level up against yours or Eric's any day of the week. It is that educational level that enables me to see that all he is doing is throwing the word class around as if it was Merlin's wand, conjuring visions of a sugar plumb world that would exist if everyone would just abandon class distinctions. Well guess what it does not work that way in the real world. There was an old saying by a wise owl (I forget who it was) who said about the underlying premise of Eric's thesis:

If you homogenize society, you keep the cream from rising to the top.

It is a fact of history and humanity that this whole crap of the masses doing everything is just that, crap. It is the individual who makes the big moves in society that wrench it from its complacency to a new height. It is the Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein's, Leonardo DiVinci's that keep us from falling into the boring morass of a homogenized world. The reason that capitalism has taken over all successful human societies is that it creates the conditions where remarkable individuals can reach their potential. Its death is when it gets over regulated by well meaning do gooders who want to "keep us safe".

Ignoring you lazy remark on Class, (especially since it requires no response or thinking on your part)
let me respond to your second question. My point is that if there much contention about symbols, and it could result as Bozzor said of "Apocalypse", it is totally up to the Jewish community and yes, Arab populations inside Israel to come up with a compromise, anywhere except when it involves the destruction of another symbol My earlier point is that we get so hung up with symbols and history, that is used for all the wrong reasons, that it sometimes takes the process of thinking, what you call "nonsense", to point out that old patriarchal class relations, are not worth dying for, especially since the more modern form of class patriarchies, are themselves complete failures.

Jerusalem is the apple of the Lord God's eye. They are making every attempt to rid the world of Our Creator's Holy Site. Well, the Lord God, Jesus Christ, will come and set things right, but in His time.

If you want to know the truth, get a good ole KJV Bible and start reading. All of your comments are based on not having the knowledge of the truth. You walk in the knowledge of men and not the knowledge of God. You understand with the knowledge of men and not the knowledge that comes from God. Your wisdom comes from men and not the wisdom of God.

They may seek to destroy all the remains of the temple of God, but they cannot destroy the Word of God. They tried 2000 years ago on the cross, but Jesus Christ, our Lord and King, did rise from the dead, and lives. He is watching all and listens to all. He knows the hearts and minds of men. In His time, He will put an end to all the lies and conspiracies. He will put down all the evil and wickedness in this world.

Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord.

This day is fast approaching. I suggest you all start learning the truth and read what God says about all these things that are coming to pass.

I don't know if you are commenting on the article in regards to priceless artifacts in the Holy Land, or if you are trying to spread the word of Christianity. But all I know is that there are certiantly (at least additionally) more ways to spread peace than to make sure that people follow Christianity.

Good Christians are good, but not all Christians are good.

And just to let you know also, The Koran specifically protects Jewish people as the Chosen People and Christians as well. As I understand, Muhammad is very similar in Islam to Jesus Christ is to Christianity, and Allah in Islam is the same as God in Christianity.

No matter what way you put it, those people destroying Temple Mount artifacts were not devout Muslims. They were twisted freaks who happened to call themselves Muslim.
