This is not mere coincidence: there is now a "get out of jail' card for the US from Iraq...and freeing US forces for a probable strike against Iran. Look for provocations and escalations on both sides now. The situation is going to prove very hard to predict in terms of timing and sequence, but one can be certain that we have reached a point of no return.
