Not content merely with being an airline operating nation, Dubai wishes to have greater exposure to the technology of building advanced commercial aircraft...not to mention military systems. EADS represents a tempting buy for Dubai, as it gives them access to first class technology with both commercial and military applications that is not indigenously possible in the Arab world.
