The A350-XWB has been ordered by Qatar Airways...but this 777 option signifies doubts as to whether the aircraft will actually end up being of the type the airline ordered...or even if they could be built on time / at all. If the A350-XWB is delayed, then the old workhorse 777 will gain a significant order.
