UACV (Unmanned Air Combat Vehicles) have been a reality for a few years now, but in the near future we will see advanced new types undertaking far more demanding missions. Farnborough showed a glimpse of a future where the most dangerous missions are undertaken by pilots hundreds of kilometers away from their aircarft, or even by planes that are largely autonomous.
