Whilst Boeing may have paid a settlement, there are still going to be repurcussions from its past mis-deeds. Pentagon acquisition officer Druyun, infamously linked with former Boeing CFO Mike Sears, allegedly 'asked' Boeing to hire her daughter, then manipulated testing regimes to favour Boeing in a satellite bid. Ethics violations like this are near unavoidable in a large enterprise such as Boeing simply by the laws of probability, but the real question is: has Boeing truly cleared out its house, or do many more, darker skeletons lurk?
